Chat GPT… had I spoken too soon?

First things first: I standby everything in part one, nothing will be retracted whether it stems from cited sources or personal opinion. Second thing: selective outrage is one hell of a drug and I am glad all of us are practitioners of sobriety.. right?

ChatGPT’s roll-out was one for the books I mean it sent everyone off the deep end: what am I going to do now? How can they use robots to replace humans? Ain’t that bout a bitch, etc. The list of obscenities and valid questions go on but to stop them? Let’s take a look at one little phrase: it’s all about perspective.

Perspective: particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view. That is the definition of this word that we’ll be emphasizing all throughout this article.

So let’s say automation does begin to take effect and govern the business model in an unfavorable position as we know and love it, how do you view it? Are you changing with the times or are you the creator of times? You see, the world in which we live is predestined to depend upon human ingenuity and overall dominion, how? We have something called a brain, you know, that piece of meat stuck inside your skull and right behind your eyeballs? Yeah, that oh so complicated yet simple muscle creates our reality and if we aren’t careful, it can just as easily alter it!

In short: most things are looked at in a negative light, when in fact, they are not meant to be perceived as negative [nor perceived to be positive] it is about perspective. Also, perception itself. Perception, hmm, another great word which means ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through senses. So how do we perceive something which may sound so final and disastrous yet once fully examined — you then realize — it’s only fresh horse shit straight from the press? No robot can replace humans, no matter what field or specialty — it is downright impossible and more or less something insanely stupid for anyone of us to believe!

I don’t entirely agree with A.I. proposals and do not suggest that we shy away from endorsing its use but look at the evidence presented to you: programming languages are entered by humans but perfected by the soulless. But when failed experiments and discoveries have made the world into a state of disarray and chaos, who’s taking full responsibility for the domino effect like damages? Because remember: binary code is only numbers, how can mental illness be treated or reconciliation after burdened with grief over lost loved ones?

We may like living in a fully developed and technologically diverse society but be honest — a lot of things are not what they seem and surely were not invented nor intended to make our lives easier. It’s an alien invasion by a different name with a strikingly similar plot: complete domination and erasure of common knowledge and self-reliance.
